Medoc

I had an added addition this week in Medoc, my Dad came for the week and I was hoping for the same result as last time he came to watch in Metz last year when I finished 2nd.

I didn't quite manage that but a 30th place with rounds of 76,68,71,70, It was a very encouraging week as I felt more comfortable with my game as the week went on, the first round was very frustrating as I played great the whole day and apart from a poor golf shot a mental error which led to a double and triple bogey in the closing holes I would of signed for a very solid start, this left me with an awful lot of work to do to make the cut, I treated the second round like a matchplay situation and found myself -5 through 14 holes and right back in the tournament but a bogey, bogey finish saw me make the cut on the mark at +2, the last 5 holes were really tough physically as i Played in the hottest part of the day at 82 degrees which I found really draining towards the end of my round, the next two rounds were far less stressful and eventful apart from a cracked driver face at the start of the third round!!!!

The next few weeks will see me play a few Jamega Events before back out to Paris at the start of May for the Challenge Tour.

It was great to have my Dad there and I really enjoyed the week apart from the snoring which you all probably heard all over the world!!

A big thankyou also to Ludo who travelled down on the final day from Poitiers to caddy, It was great fun and was good to catch up.

A massive thankyou also to Stromberg Golf for the trousers that i recieved this week, they have a great range at www.stromberggolf.com
