2011

Well as stated in my last blog, it wasn't the year of the Robinson, this has somewhat been explained over the last few weeks.

I have been suffering with sciatica since April this year and after seeing numerous phsyio's could not find the cause of it, I was lucky enough to get an MRI scan 6 weeks ago which showed up a slipped disc at L5-S1 which is compressing the right S1 nerve root, I have an appointment at the Spinal Clinic in Sheffield on the 25th November to find out what the treatment and the length of it will be.

This news has been a massive relief to me and really does explain the inconsistency of my golf for the last year, as I have said in all my blogs I have played well and terrible in the same round which has been so confusing and frustrating it had really left me thinking about my future in the game, but with the back hopefully on the road to being sorted I am really looking forward to next year with renewed hope and optimism.

So the winter months will consist of me looking for work, trying to get sponsorship and throwing around some ideas of some fundraising day's for next year.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank Market Rasen Golf Club and everyone involved there for all their support and help over the last year, it's a great place to play golf and the condition of it this year has been the best for many years, also a special thank you to Peter Bray the Captain for all his hard work.

Also a massive thank you to Steve Williamson, Steve has now left the golf range and is back across the road at Canwick Park where he first started, he has set up a state of the art simulator which will be perfect to keep your golf in shape over the winter.

Again Glenbrae and Stromberg have continued to support me in providing clothing, I can't thank them enough for their generosity and quality of clothing, they both have new ranges out for 2012 which are well worth a look and a purchase!!
