Barbaroux

I arrived back at Barbaroux for the Tour Championship, the field was made up of the top 30 in the AGF Allianz O.O.M, I always enjoy playing the course and this was my 3rd year back here and I still left as I do every year puzzled by the greens!!!!

The Last Alps Event

I arrived in Italy on the Monday evening to torrential rain and gale force winds, the tournament this week was a slightly different format to the others with the first 36 holes been played on two different courses.

Masters 13

A three hour drive from Toulouse across to Pont royal near Marseille saw me arrive for the tournament on Sunday evening, a little earlier than usual, but with two pro ams to play the the time would be spent wisely playing and practicing.

Challenge Tour

A very tough two days in Toulouse saw me miss the cut by two shots, the wind was very strong and made a straight forward golf course play very hard, the cut last year was – 5 and compare that to this year when it was + 5 shows what a difference the weather can make to a golf course!!!!

Alps Tour

This week the Alps Tour stopped near Paris for one of the most popular events of the year, a great golf course which would test every part of my game with quick undulating greens lots of water it was sure to be a great test!!

Tour School

Well the Tour School journey started and finished in the same week unfortunately for me, the Barbaroux Golf Course was a very tough test of both patience and skill.

Alps Tour

Well the decision to go and try and play in France didnt quite pay off, no practice in 3 weeks together with a very sore back saw me miss the cut, the hope was to play 4 weeks in a row, however I have had to withdraw from the Challenge Tour event this week in Strasbourg and am currently back at home trying to get the back and game both in order ready for tour school on the 7th September.

The Injury

Well the last two weeks have not gone to plan with a back injury picked up in the gym, so the last two weeks have been spent in the phsyio room and on the sofa and not on the range which has been very frustrating!!

Gatton Manor

Another trip down south this week to a nice well maintained golf course in the Surrey countryside, a tree lined course with very quick and undulating greens.

Selsdon Golf And Country Club

Well after last weeks success on the Jamega Tour I thought I would try to carry on the good form from the previous weeks.

Donnington Grove – Jamega Tour

I’m not used to playing back here in the UK and it’s been a long time since I’ve played competitively in the great British weather!!

Donnington Grove – Jamega Tour

The Alps Tour is currently on a three week break from tournaments.
